NSW U21 STATE TEAM:

Congratulations to Eliza Brazel and Kellie White on their recent success at the U21 Australian Championships held in Brisbane. As part of the NSW U21 Team they came away with the bronze medal and the team was awarded the “Play by the Whistle” Award.

Kellie (Co-Captain) was named as joint winner of “Player of the Tournament” and made selection into the Australian Development Squad.

This squad is Hockey Australia‘s preparation for athletes for the next step in international hockey.

Under the guidance of the High Performance Unit this squad is designed to develop the depth of hockey in Australia with regular international tours to find the next elite players for the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos.

Kellie and Eliza were also named in the 2010/11 National Junior Squad.

This squad involves a training camp, a home series of domestic and international games and an International Tour in 2011.

Best wishes to Kellie and Eliza in this next stage of their hockey career.
