CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STATE INDOOR REPRESENTATIVES

Congratulations to Madisen Clark who represented NSW at the Australian U21 Indoor Hockey Championship. The NSW U21 team finished second to WA going down 1-2 in a very close final.

Congratulations to Samantha Danckert, Estelle Hughes, Tahlia McKenzie, Mikaela Patterson and Paige Smyth Oliver - National champions after an undefeated run at the Australian U18 Indoor Hockey Championship.

UNDER 18 INDOOR HOCKEY - 2011

Congratulations to Samantha Danckert, Estelle Hughes, Tahlia McKenzie, Mikaela Patterson, Paige Smyth Oliver on their selection in the NSW U18 Indoor Hockey Team.

The girls will be heading off to Brisbane to play in teh National Championship from January 9-14, 2012.

OPEN WOMEN'S INDOOR HOCKEY - 2011

Congratulations to Maddi Clark on her selection in the NSW U21Indoor Hockey Team and to Paige Smyth Oliver as a Shadow Player for the U21.

Congratulations also to Emma Cairnduff on her selection as a Shadow Player in the NSW Women's Open Indoor Hockey Team.

ML5 GRAND FINAL RESULTS

Commiserations to ML5 who lost their Grand Final 1-0 to Harbourside in the 2nd period of extra time.

They played extremely well and dominated most of the game with lots of attacking short corners and not one defensive corner.

Unfortunately, they just couldn't get past the opposition goalie and with the score 0-0 at Full Time they went into extra time with 9 players. Still locked at 0-0 each team down to 7 players and with only less than a minute to go a break-away goal was scored against them.

We are all extremely proud of how they played and their great sportsmanship shown not only today but throughout the whole season. It was a disappointing end to a great season but certainly a game that they can all hold their heads high.

Thank you to all the wonderful supporters that came down to cheer the team along.
